In Play Films and its partner website, In Play Music, are taking a fresh approach to distributing our quality artists. We are going to be working with third party clients (Netflix & iTunes) on a selected basis (they select the films, we will submit everything to them) to get your film or music more publicity and traffic.

We will also be submitting films to various digital theaters across the United States and Canada. There currently is not one independent distribution company that does this. Yes, some of the major independent distributors do, but not the digital/online distributors. This is where we set ourselves apart from the other companies.

We also aim to help filmmakers fund their films. We will look at all projects with smaller budgets and explore various funding options to help you reach your goals (Please do not submit anything that requires huge special effects or A list actors, as we can’t afford that just yet.)

We are completely non-exclusive so you can stay with us for as long or as short as you want. You can sign up with other distributors as well. I can promise you that we will treat every one of you like you are our only client, and we will work hard to make sure you are seen and that we move copies of your films. (Please note that all submissions are screened for quality in order to maintain a high professional standard of representation, so make sure to send us your very best work!)

We offer an industry leading split and you, as the artist, are the winner of this split-by a lot. We offer a 75-25 split. You take home the 75% of the gross. We take a minimal fee to cover production and shipping costs (often this fee ends up being a dollar or two. Like we said, very minimal).
